Hello everyone. Today we have produced a video on Cat5 cable and how we use it to install your IT infrastructure. This is also known in the trade as; Cat5 cabling, voice and data cabling, structured cabling or network data cabling.
It doesn't matter if you are a small or large business or even work from home, you will need a robust cabling installation to operate on and keep you going.
So why do you need such a robust network? Well you need all your printers, access points, telecoms and pc's all connected and communicating and not 'falling over' because down time for you and staff is a loss for everyone.
Cat5 cable is the preferred choice of installers because it's value for money networking cable and that means value for our customers.
Inside the cable is four twisted pairs of copper wire and when you pop an RJ45 connector on the end it results in a connector that plugs into your network sockets. And what are network sockets? These plug into your computers and telephones and make your network.
